Tanzania Peaberry

Tanzania Peaberry is a medium bodied arabica coffee grown in rich volcanic soil on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru in northern Tanzania. It expresses itself with a complex flavor profile of sweet fruits like plum and tangerine with hints of milk chocolate, cinnamon, or black tea undertones. While others say it’s more like sweet brown sugar, black tea, black currant, and anise. Unlike traditional beans, Tanzania Peaberry is known for its small, dense, and round bean than produces a single seed in the cherry instead of two. Very rare, making up only 5% of the global coffee harvested.
